Shure MV88+ MOTIV Video Kit Overview
The Shure MV88+ Video Kit is a great solution for content creators on the go, including all the tools you need to capture professional-quality content outdoors and at home. The switchable polar patterns allow the MV88+ to be used as directional, Omni or bi-directionally, and the versatility of the accessories and desktop application control allows the MV88+ MOTIV Video Kit to be a great desktop solution as well as mobile.
The kit includes a Manfrotto PIXI tripod to give you solid stability while recording, a phone clamp so you can easily see what you’re recording, a mount, as well as iOS and USB-C cables. It’s a lightweight, compact set-up that lets you capture professional quality content wherever you are, turning your smartphone into a professional set-up.
The free Shure MOTIV Audio and Video Apps let you record, edit, and share your content, as well as being able to control settings with a five-band equaliser, choose custom and factory user presets, as well as having live-streaming capabilities, multiple bit depth and sample rate options, and the headphone jack on the MV88+ lets you monitor audio in real-time.

- iOS Devices (USB-C enabled) – iPad Pro: When connected to iPad Pro via a USB-C cable, the MV88+ will pass audio and gain can be adjusted. However the MOTIV apps will only display ‘external mic’, and the settings screen will not be available. Shure recommends using another device to configure the settings before using with iPad Pro. No adjustments can be made in real time (except gain) on the Shure MOTIV apps when using an iPad Pro
